Breast Cancer Recovery - Are You Getting Long Term Change With Your Short Term Relief?

TaTa Tuesday...Are You Getting Long Term Change With Your Short Term Relief with your breast cancer recovery?

I planted a garden this year. In the small back yard of my south city house, I edged out the borders with rocks that I had collected over the years. (I love rocks:-) I imagined basil and oregano, lavender and rosemary with thyme bursting over the edges.

I have a green thumb but I am still mastering the art of having open gaps in my schedule but we were sheltering in place. Time had disappeared. I added topsoil and tucked in my newbie herbs and even some veggies; tomatoes, zucchini, and sweet, red peppers. It was a lot of work, the digging and planting and fencing off strategies to fend off the squirrels, but I've gotta say my garden is bursting with potential.

A project like gardening brings all the things. The delight of anticipation, the act of gardening gloves and wee shovels, and the obvious reward. Zucchini bread and homegrown tomatoes.

And what does this have to do with Beloved Bust, Scar Release, and Reclaiming Your Body After Breast Cancer?

Just like my tomato plants needing sun, water, and time to get results, scars don't disappear in a day or even a week but... with time and consistency, you will feeeel the results. Decreasing pain and tightness can happen in the short term and for the long term when you add the self-care that includes treating fascia.

Imagine going about your beautiful day, planting your own garden without your lymphedema flaring up; without paying for your labor of love with more pain and tightness. What makes the techniques we use and teach here at Quantum Healing Arts so effective? Time and Consistency... The Art of Wooing the Fascia.
